  • KL Gupta Memorial Oration (Association of Clinical Biochemists of India), 1995.
  • Ati Visisht Chikitsa Medal by the Association of College of Chest Physicians of India, 1995.
  • M.M. Ghani  Award  for Best Teacher  by  Calicut  University, received from the Chief Minister of Kerala, 1996.
  • Vasudev Memorial Award  for Best Project  carried  out  in Applied Science, Dept. Science & Technology, Govt. of Kerala, 1996
